Thread: The South of Erthor

    Default The South of Erthor

Originally meant for the June challenge, I was not contented with a few details for this map and so will keep it as an experiment (as the silly faces in the sea can show). Inspired by Francesca Baerald, as most watercolour maps are . I more or less did this map without planning, so its not entirely consistent... I'm not sure if I will make a remake before the challenge ends...
How do I stop a pcture from zooming in so much??
    A4
    Watercolour and micron pens
(Edit) the second map is rotated correctly.

A cool experiment, MMM . The watercolors are very nice.
And are the faces in the water sea ghosts? merfolks?

Thanks Ilanthar. I wouldnt know exactly what they are, but the closest I can come to is the results of a tortured mind...

Very pretty map. Love the watercolour style.

I think those faces are looking to eat some unwary ships...

Thank you ChickPea! And yeah, that was the idea about the faces. I can imagine a little deco of a ship sailing into an open mouth rising out of the sea...
