    Wip WIP - Cape City

    Hi,
I started a landscape yesterday. Not sure if the buildings will be medieval or futuristic...

Here's the pix and a little WIP video in the link:

Nice ! Have you tried tweaking the lines colors to blend them better with the textures ? The sea is wonderful ! Du très bon boulot !

Thanks Tom! I'm working on blending my colors and i've changed the opacity of the black lines. My first idea was a b&w landscape but I struggled too much trying to draw decent clouds
I worked on the background mountains a bit.

    Thanks Voolf
your comment reminds me that there was a perspective grid in Procreate!
Lack of sleep made me rethink the whole thing.
Changed the lights, and I'll maybe work on a different buildings, maybe smaller...
I'll check it tomorrow, with a fresh mind.

I changed the "city" to a futuristic tower and the former tower to a group of stones, maybe on a ley line, connected to the tower...
The tower is massive enough to house an entire city population. Is it an outpost, a watchtower or the last remains of a dying civilization?

The inversion of perspective gives the whole map a more ominous and theatrical vibe. Very Kubrick-y J'adore !
