I had the word dark repeating in the last sentence of the flavour text so when I changed that I took out the Lady's hand (thanks Neyasha). I agree that they also jar with the overall image. My thinking was that if I place something realistic in the final room it would cause a slight 'oh' moment. But the hands weren't very well exectued I think and maybe the Lady in the dark picture accomplishes this enough on its own Thanks so much for the advice and to everyone else who gave me input in finishing this!
