I usually don't like very much B&W, but your map is so much "eye catching" ! Congratulations !!!!

There is something really attractive with this map but I can't figure what exactly. In any case what I now for sure is I really like it !

Woah, glad to hear that MistyBeee!

I worked a little on the frame of the map. Wanted to incorporate the coats of arms of the four "civilized" nations. Since this map is B&W only, I decided to go and use this old style guide to display the colours by means of hatching. Not sure if the effect really comes across, but I suppose it's better than just some random values of grey.

I'm currently pondering a way to distinguish the outer regions (Nargwin, Safryn and Hamadion) from the civilized nations a little better. Maybe using a different font (size)? I'm probably also gonna add some sort of qualifier to the outer regions to ease the distinction, something like "the Nargwin Coast", "the Safryn Waste", and "the Hamadion Wilderness" (but in Dutch, obviously).

    Any thoughts?

    Wow, Caenwyr, you're fast ^^

This looks absolutely fantastic imo! I do wonder though....with your skills, you should be able to pull of adding in the forests...i'd love to see that.

Also, any chance we could get an English version of this map? I know your novel is in Dutch but i'd love a version where i can understand it all (and then maybe use it for some roleplaying on the side ).
