    What a beautiful map! I'm a total fan of that style too and doing a map with similar fonts and the same colour scheme, but drawing by hand (WIP). The technique you used for topography resulted in some very realistic landforms and coastlines and with these colours the map has just the right feeling as in the British Isles bathy-orographical map. Like it! There are a lot in this map to explore. I also quite like those place names.

    Quick update. I'm currently in the process of translating. I decided against using the conscript as it really didn't fit the aesthetic

    After I'm done with the translations I'm going to simplify the longest names, so a place like Imitá shïtáf rru will become Imitáf rru. This is not exactly how names come about IRL but the results are similar without having to delve into language evolution too much.

    It took much longer than anticipated and it's starting to overlap with other projects, so the pace will probably slow down for the final pass on the names (ie: making them pronounceable). Meanwhile, I'll be starting another map based on a particular event in the Malazan Book of the Fallen series.
