September 2018 Entry - WHERE ALL THE GOOD BOYS GO

Ah, the canine fields of glory, where you can dig up dinosaur bones, pick your own chew toys in the cat orchard (sorry, cat people), chase sheep till you collapse in happy exhaustion, lap up puddles of spilled ice cream, or simply lie lazily on the sun-soaked fields of “The Farm.” It’s the best afterlife of them all, where all the good boys (and girls!) go.

Who says maps have to be serious all the time?

This is the super RUFF concept sketch (omg I’m unstoppable today); I’ve got a lighter work schedule on my paws this month so I’m hoping to have time to do full color!

As a dog lover and owner, I'm positively in love with your concept, Lizard !
If I can, I would suggest to add a treats tree (or pork rind orchard !)

Although you forgot one important part of doggy heaven: the...ahem...sniffing hole. Maybe it could be somewhere around the backside of the map

I'd completely understand if you decided to draw Kitty Heaven, and add some canine scratching posts. And omg--THE SNIFFING HOLE, how could I have forgotten such a vital landmark??

Lineart done! Not sure how I feel about it, though; if I have time I may do color without the strong lines and go for a more textural look, we shall see!
