September 2018 Entry - Ascension
Early stages of a Greek influenced "stairway to heaven".
The general concept is that Oikos is the starting point of a funeral ceremony for people of renown.
The funeral ceremony can be undertaken by anyone who has achieved greatness during their life.
Whether they be alive, recently deceased, gravely wounded, elderly or just ill of health.
Along the last path there are acolytes of the Pyre who deliver the recently deceased.
The Pyre is a large temple where at it's main alter a funeral pyre is kept lit at all times.
This is where the ceremony ends and the trial of Ascension begins.

I agree the mountains look fantastic! It's also really nice to see a map relating to Greek mythology.
Unfortunately I injured myself recently and was out of work for a week, so I wasn't able to work on this during that time (I do all of my mapping during my lunch breaks, It's a good way to zone out!)
Back on it today though with a minor update. Hoping I can get cracking over the next couple of days and make up for lost time!

P.S - I've only just opened the .jpg myself and seen the default background colour, My god does it look awful!
Oh no! I hope that's an easy fix. (It looks like it should be, but I also know that Photoshop can occasionally have some weird blips because you sneezed while your right pinkie finger hovered too close to the mouse pad or something...)
It was an easy fix, nothing to worry about thankfully!
