Aug / Sept '18 Lite Challenge: Map a Crater
This month's Challenge was to create a map featuring a crater. Craters are fun to draw and interesting to look at.
We have 7 great entries for you to vote on.
We would have had 8 but Mimine got swamped at work and that prevented her from completing her map and she asked to be removed from the voting. She was off to a great start and I hope she can finish the map at a later date.

I'll be having a closer look at all of the of the maps later today, hopefully I'll be able to make up my mind on who to vote for.

Hmmm voting was really hard this month. I pretty much wanted to vote for everyone! Great work all round, folks.

Phew, I got here in time to vote! Looks like a nail biter...which I didn't help, because I voted for both front runners.I love the color palettes on both.

Very difficult to narrow down the vote, and it would have been harder still if everyone had managed to finish on time!

I had such high hopes that I'd have time to work on my map. Unfortunately life became very busy and I never was able to finish. Some very impressive competition though. Good job and good luck everyone.
I'm really glad that this theme was selected for this month's contest. It was so interesting and generated quite a few impressive maps. Lite challenges can often be overlooked, but I think the amount of participation and dedication this month shows how special these competitions can be. This a great community that does such wonderful art and contests like this prove it!
