I can feel for you Straf. I absolutely hate when the software I'm using doesn't cooperate. Hopefully the ragequit fades and you get a chance to work on this, I was digging the shape of the island(?) and layout.

I'm back on track. I think. I've just been experimenting with a few different colours. I'm going to stick with this for working on and then I'll apply some darkening layers later on.

Nice job on catching up with yourself, Straf.

And I agree - 2.10 is pure hell. I've almost entirely gone over to Krita to draw symbols these days. 2.10 doesn't work with GMIC, and I used that a lot in the past.

This is looking pretty nice! But ... there appear to be some strange things going on with a couple of those rivers (although maybe you have some hills or other terrain in mind that haven't appeared yet). In the East-Northeast, one appears to start in the lowlands, run uphill a ways, and then back down to the ocean. Then you have a couple toward the Southwest that run almost parallel really close to each other for a long while, then go to different coasts. There would need to be a high spot with dual canyons on either side of it for that to happen.

Yeah there's some really puzzled geologists wandering about there scratching their heads.

I did my rivers before my mountains and had plans where the high ground was going to go and I seemed to have missed a few spots. Now I'm just trying to decide which way the rivers are going to settle. I do like the idea of twin canyons converging on a common area where dragon riders go hurtling up their respective channels to meet for an epic dogfight.

But I'm tired now and I have to be up early tomorrow so tomorrow I may try to do some tidying up and putting things right
