I think this looks pretty good over all, but I do agree with Gidde about the mountains, I think even just toning down the shadows with less opacity would help bring them in line with the subtlenes of the rest of the map. Great job though, aside from that everything else is looking really nice.

Edit...and just a side note in regards to Giddes suggestions, if you dig around a2areas threads he does have a tutorial on his mountain style which I have to agree would look really good here.

I decided to go for a modern style, I toned down the relief shades and got rid of the mountain linework. Thanks everyone who commented, you really helped me to find my way on this map.
The current issues are to find the right color and blending for the nation borders, and finish to put the names and labels.

Looks nice and clean! I love how vastly different styled entries we've had in this, this has been a fun concept.

Interesting style choice for the mountains, it's a bit unorthodox but I like it! I think the ranges are a bit too smooth lines here and there, I think they could still use a bit refining here and there to make them more lively.

I also really love the rings around your coastlines, they are wonderfully clean and smooth.

These mountains look much better and the whole map looks really good. I agree with Kelleri that they are a little smooth, but you can’t argue that they work and the map looks great... I love this clean style, well done.

Well, I believe it is finished!

This is my first ever finished digital map, I am really happy about the result and I am glad I had the opportunity to participate in this month's lite challenge.

That looks great! I love that about challenges, it gives us the impetus to actually finish stuff instead of moving on to the next WIP.

Yeah, this looks like it belongs in a text book I'd get in school. Nice, clean and uncluttered. Nice job!
