I like the colours. The river looks a million times better!

    Hope you can finish up.

The map is looking great but I really don't like that font. Maybe it's just me but it seems a bit lower quality than the rest of the map.

Yes the original font was a bit of an experiment that I didn't like almost as soon as I did it - I've re-done it now and think it is much better! Thanks QED!

So apart from a bit of minor tinkering, or if anyone spots anything glaring and alerts me to it, this one is now finished.

The original idea was to map (very approximately) a town that I can remember visiting in December each year for several years running as a small child. Obviously growing up in the Southern Hemisphere, this would have been Spring/Summer, hence the very Summery colours.
The area that this has been taken from (What used to be called the Eastern Transvaal - now part of Mpumalanga Province) was verymuch a frontier type of town back when it was in it's early trading days in the late 1700s and early 1800s, with an eclectic mix of English, Afrikaans and SiSwati cultures. I have tried to reflect this in the various names that I have used.

It's looking great, Tonquani. I know I mentioned it before, but I really, really like how you've drawn the river with its banks and random rocks, plus the shading on the shallow and deeper areas is very well done too.
