@Naima : I think there will be a nomination thread for each category, starting February 3d. You've got time to choose till then & after.
The categories are going to be the same as last year, as Diamond annouced.

If I may... is there a problem with my Frel & Floris map ? 'sounds the tumbnail is missing.
The thing is that it takes the first picture in the post... here, you posted the golden compass picture first, hence it shows only the compass.
You should be able to edit it maybe?

Maybe able to edit it... I still have ones that are wrong and I changed stuff long ago to fix it.
It's like the server never updates the info once it grabbed it.
The thumbnail for Everantha is still wrong.
As is Ahr-Nahl Nramaha. It's frustrating.

Naima: I'm going to delete your post when I get home tonight, so you've got about 6 hours to copy & paste your nominations somewhere else until I open the nomination threads.

As I said, nominations will open on February 3rd.

I don't see any need for the category 'Best Black and White Book Map'. It's far too specific - only maps meant to be in a book? Published? Unpublished? Self-published? And any B&W map could be nominated in the category it most fits into.

We're calling it the 2019 Atlas Awards because

    A) We're nominating and voting in 2019, and
    B) We called the last one the 2018 Awards, so...

It is hard to pick just one map, but remember that each map can only be nominated once in each category. So even if you decide not to nominate a particular map, someone else might chose it, and it'll still be included when it's time to vote.

I always feel a little bit better when the ones I didn't pick get nominated by someone else.

Aye, basically what CP just said. Just remember Naima, in the actual nominations threads you'll have to stick with just one, however difficult it may be

Are you sure the part indicating the timeline is noticeable enough now, D?
