Well then, what about an Honourable* Contributor nomination thread, just like Cartographers' Choice? I think it's a bit hard to know what constitutes an honourable contribution, but perhaps some description or guidelines could clarify it.

*just can't bring myself to abandon my British English spelling in favour of US English

• Remember to scan through the thread before your post your nomination. Duplicates will be deleted, so check your pick hasn't been posted already.
• Please remember to post a link to the thread, and not to the map attachment. When you're looking at the thumbnails (here) click on the text under the map thumbnail and that will open the thread in a new tab. That's the link we need, please!
• When nominating for Best World Map, please consider whether the map shows a world (or most of a world) or only a region.
