    Very cool , I like how you easternized the style ... how will you link the three phases? In a single image? May be a rope could pass from one to the others linking them vertically?

    I was thinking of three separate maps laid out on a table.

    This is looking great, Bogie! I especially like the walled city and your method of showing elevation. I think it'll look good as 3 maps on a table but Naima's idea is pretty interesting!

    Thanks. I was thinking about the rope idea and then I pictured it as 3 maps hung on a rope side by side like tapestries on a wall. Now I'm not sure which way to go. But plenty of time before I have to choose.

    The past 2 weeks have been very busy with work and traveling, but thanks to a mild cold that I caught, I decided to stay inside today and get some more work done on this project.
