You're not the only one. I HATE drawing forests. I really dig what you've done so far though!

    Thanks Misty.

It is not that i hate forests. I really love them actually. The problem is, i have done very few top down maps. I am usually for isometric maps and i have developed already quite nice (imo) forests for that particular kind of maps. All the top-down maps i have done so far, i have always experimented with different type of forests and i haven't developed one good style yet. So this map will also be full of trials and errors for me doing them.

Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know, that i will not finish this one in time.
I have been working these past few days on it, while still had time, but actually it does not shape into what i hoped for.

I may need to rethink and redesign whole idea of the map and paint it in different style. Unfortunately i will probably start working on it again long after challange is over.

Sorry for letting you down Diamond ;(

Nooooo.... man down.... our first casualty! That's okay Voolf. We knew from the start one or both of us might not make it. The only reason I'm as far along as I am is because I have a two week vacation I'm in the middle of, with absolutely nothing else to do.

But you better finish it at some point!

I will Diamond. Definately. I will try to spend at least 20 minutes everyday to push this by litle steps.

This one came out quite nice. I am not sure if i implement this into the map (decorations) yet, but would be nice to think of some nice border with gems
