    I like to find those little gems on the web, and here is another one after the Planet Generator I posted a while ago ...

    here a map generator...

    The first is made by Andy Gainey , the Second by Amit Patel... Both know each other .

    Those are pretty nifty. I could see using them.

    Those are pretty nice Naima. Thanks for sharing. Could be useful for a quick ideas for land shapes.

    That is pretty awesome!

    Not only it provides very pleasant looking maps, but the sofware logic behind it is ways superior to all the other softwares i've seen around! It clearly starts from the usual voronoi + perlin noise ideas, but it implements them in a magistral way.
    Wow.

    I love playing with the world generators, great when you are looking for general shapes and new ideas. Thanks for posting the links.

    thanks for collecting these! I'll definitely be bookmarking this thread and checking out the various generators. defnitiely helpful to these sorts of starting points sometimes. :-)
