Thanks guys - this is taking me waaaaay longer than I had originally thought it would - first attempt at building mapping, and also first attempt at iso! - aeshnidae,I feel for you with the perspective I gave you, I feel like a bit of a b~*!$%& now for asking for an extreme 3 point perspective (sorry) , but hey, I guess that's what these challenges are about - getting as far out of your comfort zone as possible... ...just don't ask me to do a space map - I would have no idea where to start...

Anyway, after much procrastinating, I have finally got the ground floor to a stage where I can scan it in - I have also altered the basement slightly and rescanned it - I have a new scanner so I'm in scan-heaven!

There is still the loft to add at the top, and the storage room below the basement needs to be reattached. Then I need to redraw the map, do a sign, colour it all, and I wanted to do a compete outside view of it as well, but will have to see how I am doing for time.

    Anyway, ### Latest WIP ###

For a first attempt at iso mapping, I think you're doing a bang-up job on this.

This looks wonderful so far! No worries about giving me extreme 3 point perspective...but remember it was your idea to do a cutaway of the Staggered Goat. I'm loving it, though!

Thanks everyone - it's been great fun to so so far.

@Diamond - Yes, but you haven't seen how many pieces of paper have been scrapped and how many times I've started again, trying to first draw everything correctly, and then trace it onto one master illustration to scan in. This must be the most environmentally unfriendly map ever...

Anyway, lots of colour done - I think I am more or less starting to settle on the final colour scheme...

    Thanks Ilanthar.

I have taken a break from the iso section to draw the map that was also part of the commission. Colours and texture are nowhere near what I want - I may well end up with just a very low opacity wash and then shading - the same with the iso drawings, as I am really struggling to mke my colour palette come together.

Anyway this is the map inset - it will obviously be reduced in size.

Yes! I'm loving the top-down map (but I always love your top-down maps). In case it helps with color, Cheapside is based on Ward, Colorado, and other gritty towns in the mountains.
