Wasn't able to work on this much yesterday, but did make some progress. Still a little slower than I'm happy with, and in looking at it after the better part of a day away from it, I'm starting to wonder if the mountain slopes are starting to look a little too busy. It might not be so bad once I start putting other features in there, but idk.....

    Anyways, an update

It's like a mission of madness bro. I'm still completely amazed you can do this with a mouse.

I know you can get decent at it if you keep at it because my first stuff was done with a mouse as well but it always felt like I was drawing with a big fat piece of chalk.

You can't give up now, I totally want to see how this goes!

No plans to give up on this. It might not be everything I am hoping for when its finished, but I ain't giving up. The cool thing is that I am getting some really good ideas for how I might try to approach future maps.

Managed to put in a little time on this last night. Seeing a few things that, in hindsight, I should have done a little differently, but its getting late in the challenge period, so I'll keep pushing forward from here with the same process. Hoping to have the tedious mountains finished sometime this weekend so that I can get started on the other features/requirements with enough time to finish them up before the end of the challenge.

Still plugging away at these mountains. Seriously tedious work but still mostly happy with the results so far. Still not sure about adding color to this yet, depends on how other features look once I start adding them in. Possibly a bit of color for lakes and rivers just to make them clear.

Thanks Mr. B. As tedious as it has been, I am actually enjoying the work process, at least until my eyes start applying the bit of gblur I am using on their own.

Just a quick color test for the mountains as they are so far. Thoughts?

I like the top one most but then I'm not sure what the final look is you are going for with the rest. These really are great looking mountains man.
