Link L’Isle: A Free 18th Century Battlefield Brush Set for Fantasy Maps

Hey, folks! I'm back (yet again.)

Today I'm releasing another big set of free brushes (over 500) based on a 17th-century battlefield map. L'Isle is named after Joseph Nicolas de LÂ’Isle who supervised the production of The First Atlas of Russia for the Russian Academy of Sciences. Where most of my sets focus on landscapes, cities, and such, this is a bit different.

The brushes are designed for Photoshop (and GIMP), but I include a few transparent PNGs as well, so you can use it with other programs. (Note: the brushes are dark, and when viewed in Chrome it'll look broken, it's not.)

You can read more about the set and download it over on my blog.

As with all my brushes, L'Isle is free to use for personal or commercial work. Have fun with 'em!
