July 2019 Challenge : Kinaat & Devea
Lately I've been in the north where there is very less population and I had the chance to see the Milky Way for the first time in my life. I had this idea of two sister galaxies all twirled together. Yeah for now they look like turds I agreeHope it's come nicely!

Making me sad, when I was a kid we use to live in a small desert town and could see the stars well each night. Cool concept tackling star maps always seems so hard to me, I don't know how I would do the detail.

This is going to be a beauty. The colors are gorgeous, and I love those border decorations! So simple in a way, but really effective.
I'm not quite sold on the labels for the Galaxy names - I think you are on the right track in getting them to be in line with the decorations, but they are too heavy for my taste as they are. But then again, I usually lean towards lighter fonts, so maybe it's just a personal preference.
Thank you Kellerica! I see what you mean for the labels, however I based all my other structure elements on that font haha
I added some more information, I think it balances more the empty space. I also added some boundaries lines, I think they give a wonderful punch to the galaxies arms!

Wow this is beautiful - you've done so much so quickly!
Personally I like the font, it matches the border nicely. With the size of the labels the only worry is cluttering it too much and detracting from the art but I think that depends on how many other labels you're planning to add
That'll be pretty much it for the labels! I'm gonna add some text, but I agree with you that it must not get too cluttered.
