    Map The Maw

    Hello everyone!

Here is a little project I was working on for a friend who DMs and therefore loves to create worlds.

This is a regional map depicting an area of the world called 'The Maw', a resource rich valley that has recently been conquered to by the Empire to the South.

Shout-out to Fantastic Maps and his wonderful tutorials which helped me make this one.

I can definitely see Roberts' influence in the colors! It's a very cute piece. I love those curvy mountaintops! The texture and fadeout effect on the settlement markers, border and title is a really nice touch.
One thing I do note, however, is that your forests seem more like a top-down style, that doesn't really go with the isometric mountains and hills. It's not a massive issue, but it does give the whole piece a little inconsistent look.

Thanks for the kinda words, I really appreciate it

As for the forests, I think it won't surprise you to hear that they are the part I most struggled with, trying a few different styles. Definitely something I need to work on!
