Thread: Myrshalla

    Default Myrshalla

Myshalla, a land ostensibly ruled by a king seated in the capital of Pentowyr, but in truth is a house divided. City states throughout the kingdom hold tremendous local power, due to the fractured nature of the Myrshallan Archipelago and the equally riven politics of the royal court.

My goal for this map was to practice integrating some illustrative elements and harmoniously blending them with the map itself. As such, I tried out some new things with this one, and once again focused on slowly building up the colors of the map and illustrations, building on some practice that I did with Tyl'Rhygis.

Great map, very consistent. I particularly like your city icons and the design of their frames.
And this scroll as something of a kraken .
