September 2019 Challenge: Tiziano

I've had very little time for mapping for a while, and I've been missing it. I had some free time this weekend (mostly today), so I decided to go all in and try to produce an almost-done map, as much as I could.

So, here's the hamlet of Tiziano. It's all vector, made in Affinity Designer, with a tiny bit of Inkscape on the side (I knew if I attempted hand-drawing, I'd still be at it this time next month!)

It's not finished yet. I need to do a couple of bridges, and some pathways and a few other small bits and pieces, but I'm quite pleased with what I've managed in a short space of time. I'll tackle the rest during the week.

Thanks for the comments folks. Can't really take credit for the squirrel. I did redraw it, but it was heavily inspired by a 'free for personal use' image I found on the web. Unfortunately I've failed to keep a note of the link to credit... [facepalm]

Hoping to spend a little time on this tonight and maybe have another update soon.

Small update. Not sure how much more time I'll have, so I suspect this will be the final version. Kinda liking it less this week than I did last week, but on the plus side, at least I've finished (I have so many abandoned maps it's not even funny). So I'm giving myself a pat on the back for that, if nothing else!
