Awesome work. Amazing art and sketches.

I noticed you kinda put two of those wips together into one file: Did you just cut and paste selections into a new larger space to work with?

When you did sketches and put them into thumbnails, what were the original sizes of each of those sketches? If they were all different, you don't have to list each individual size, just a basic size in pixels or inches is fine. Or did you just draw some boxes and fill them in with sketches into a thumbnail format?

Thank you! Yeah, I wanted to give the Grave Shallows a poisonous volcanic waters kinda vibe. Glad you like them

    First, thank you!
Second, yes, I dropped both sketches in one file, expanded the canvas, and then cut and moved each of my location concept notes to around the edges of the map. It was just easier to contemplate the whole thing that way.
Third, the resolution is larger (rectangle = 2250x1446px) but I was sketching them at a zoom level a little bigger than the size that I posted as windows explorer screenshot (rectangle = around 375x240px)... just around the edge of the map. I just made one rectangle as a layer mask and duplicated the layer and dragged it around to the next place and kept sketching. It's kind of a big file, haha.

    Thank you!
I'm not having as much time to work on it with other things happening this month but I'll get as far as I can during the challenge.

I've not gotten as far as I'd like and won't be able to do it the way I want. Just have too much on my plate this month.
Tried a few directions just to finish it for the challenge and not thrilled with any of them, but here's a quick color sketch mock-up of it in a book... might try it along this line and just go ahead and call it a wip.

Still a ways to go but getting closer... slapped some labels on to see what those might do.

Great colors and detail.. I love this map!! One note though... all your mountains are shaded differently than the shadows coming off the shadow coast... it seems like there are two suns... are there two suns??

This is a great entry. The color palette is really soothing. Nice job on the rendering as well.
