A Map of 50 Provinces

This is the end of the work that I will be doing on this piece, as the commissioner intends on using icons I created to flesh out the world as they play their game, and drawing in roads as that happens. It is now out of my hands. Maybe once it's complete he'll come here and show the actual finished piece, but for now, this is my part of the project.

Very cool. Are the black lines part of the game? Like regions?

I think so, the impression I got is it's a governing game with resource management tokens. To be completely honest, I suspect the client hates the black line borders and is going to have someone else revise them, because that's the third version of the borders and I think he just gave up and decided to pay me and take off with it to someone else to finish. Just my lot in life. I like the mountains and the overall land underneath though. It has a good energy to it.

Excellent! I really like the color palette & the line art is efficient. Not so fond of the very hard lines for borders, but I guess it's just a step.
