I'm a writer--mostly fantasy with a smattering of other things--and I'd like to make maps for my novels. I also used to be a tabeletop gamer and created quite a few maps (ranging from simple graph-paper maps to world maps) back in the day for my campaigns. I've always loved fantasy maps ever since I first picked up Tolkien and tied the journey to the places on the map.

I decided to join instead of periodically lurking so I could better my skills and openly marvel at the creations on this site.
