Grand-Duché de Marcheterre (WIP)

Good evening,
Here's a test. As I explained in my presentation subject, I play to a geopolitical role play game on the web; I started a new party in a version which takes place in the middle of the XVI century, and I created a country inspired by the Normandy.

First, I had to choose my territory on the official map :


Now, I've got to create my map. I choosed to try to build a kind of fantasy map with some brushes founded on the internet. I had to create my own Coat of arms too. You can see it on the top of the map.



I spent a lot of time in order to create all the citiy names, using the typicall toponymy of Normandy : Gallish, Latin, Germanic ( Old High Franconian German to be exact) and Old Norse.

This map is not finished. I want to add some illustrations in it.
