Default January 2020 Challenge: The Kingdom of Tallia

*emerges from a dusty hard drive clutching an old parchment*

    Right.
So - this was my very first ever map, made in Paint.NET back in 2011/2012 which was my final year of high school iirc. I don't think it ever got used as we'd only just started the one D&D3.5 campaign but I was already having ideas for running my own. Thankfully I do still have a note document saved but it is funny how many little things I did remember while looking at it.

I've wanted to return to it at some point so this seems a perfect chance. I just hope I'll have time as I'm away for a bit this month

It's crazy to go back and see some old maps that I had made. I'm happy to see someone else is redoing their first map like I'm doing. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it!

I like the coastline of your old map ! And I'm looking forward what you'll do with this old map, with all your skills acquired since

Ok, only a week to go. I can do this - right?

    Done the linework at least:

Also while there are some things I do remember about the world (like the lake being named after an ancient hero who could turn into a weasel, and there being a race of precogniscient armoured bears who lived in the highest mountain) I have absolutely zero idea what the "Plains of Decay" are like...
