Ugh, thank you so much, everyone! For some reason I was feeling really lousy about this whole map last night, but now I feel like I actually have motivation to keep going. Thanks, darlings, you've made my crappy day a fair bit less so

I wonder how you can feel lousy about such a promising map ... but we each probably have our own reading and expectations of our own work ?

I second the others and - JO -, your mountains are great !
I think fantasy cartographers are constantly unsatisfied people about their work, polishing the same maps over the years .

    Thanks again, gentlemen.

Slowly drudging along... I have added what little cities and landmarks I'm planning on including, and made some drafts at rivers too.

Veeeery nice! Love those red icons for cities, the contrast and effect is excellent.

Gosh, that deadline is getting close! I'm really gonna have to cut some corners if I'm to get this finished in time, so have some quick and, lets be frank here, lazy forests for the northern areas. Thankfully the map is small enough that you can't see them in full...

The whole map becomes really beautiful! And the forests add slightly darker areas, which gives it relief and life. It's beautiful work! I hope you'll still have some time to add more forests or a border?

I very much intend to! The only reason why I've only done the northern part for now is because I think I'll want the trees have a lighter colour further south. It was easier to do these first and then move on. I really hope I'll have time to finish this, and I agree, it definitely needs a border too. I know I won't have time today, but hopefully I can still find a few hours to work on this tomorrow and the day after...
