Map Sunken Kingdom - The Chasm [Odyssey of the Dragonlord]

Everyone is probably pretty tired of Odyssey maps at this point.
But, I still have some more to post, so it will be a bit longer before I'm done.

I really loved working on this one. It just came together well.
Mapping a giant hole. hehe. Not everyday you get to do that.
And a giant hole underwater, at that.
I believe it connects with the Nether Sea, deep under Thylea.

Obviously, this big hole is the one you can see in the other Sunken Kingdom map.
Next week will have the zoom in on that region, the Temple district.

Anyways, have a great week everyone. Cheers, J

Super cool! I love the color palette, it immediately feels like it’s underwater which is very had to do.

I always like the sliced views like this. You have pulled it off very well. Excellent choice of color and shading.

Yoink... as I place this into my local files labeled "D&D map collection".

Thanks for making D&D a better place to live... or die.

Nice and unusual. I like the sense of gigantism brought by the buildings and the ships on the horizon.

I'm not sure if I'd like to go diving there or stay as far away from it as possible. I'm not usually a victim of thalassophobia, but I'm willing to make an exception

2019 was definitely the year of water for me.

I've definitely been inspired by many over the years for their cut-away views.
Mike Schley has done a number of cool ones. And the Star Wars cut-away books were always favorites.

This was an unusual one where the sketch was nearly right on.

The sea is a powerful thing.
And this sea has more beasts than normal.

But of course, and I'm sure you won't be surprised, my favorite part is the super cute little ships on the surface ^^'

Great! I really love the whole series and how the maps link to each other.
We almost expect some kind of lovecraftian great old one hidden there .
