Maybe I should start a little island monday thing ;P
Of course, for me that would really be a sunday night island thing.
That would be a fun way to revive the old experiment thread.

Another gem with many clever ideas.

The giant monsters and their devastations, the burning frame... Even the compass is spot-on with the greek aesthetic.

Oh, wow. Exceptional details, as always. I love the style of mountains and hills, and the cities themselves. It's all such a treat to explore. Correct me if I'm wrong, but is this world some form of an alternate bronze age? I'm only going off on that beautiful compass rose here, so may be incorrect.

Thank you for making such an enjoyable piece of behold (and feel perhaps a bit envious of)!
    Thanks so much Klaus

I spend a decent amount of time doing research before doing a map that has any hard specifics to it.
As this was a large series, I did a lot of research on ancient Greece and the region.

Yes, this is based on an ancient Greece environment, very bronze age inspired.

This is such a cool piece! I really, really like the fire effect along the border and title. Inspired. The sea creatures and dragon monsters are fabulous. The wealth of detail in this piece is a veritable visual feast. Once again my hat is off to you sir!

It's another glorious one! I love all the elements and the beasties in particular. So many details...

I also love the fiery frame, it's just brilliant and works very well with the parchment and the map.
