    Wip Sanctuary again

    Hi everyone,

So, as the lite challenge is over, I post it again. I expect advises, so feel very free to comment.

I started yersteday to add color with basic child color pencils

I'm not confident at all with coloring, it's a really new experience for me.

Well so far I think this looks great, the converging colors in the courtyard are a good start on the coloring, you seem to have the hand for colored pencils.

I'm also fond of the 3D, almost isometrical top down view you're working with.

You're very creative, I'd like to see more of your work!

    Nothing against children's color pencils!

I also like the perspective and I have to smile about small details like that untidy bed or the cutlery.

Maybe the typography of the continous text could have been a bit more interesting, but that's nitpicking.
I'm not sure if the "pattern" in the green center is intended (reminds me of my old desk, funny), but I guess it comes from the type of paper you are using?

I'm looking forward to seeing the next steps.

    Oh thank you!

Here is the final (?) version. I'm 32 now, and I think I stop drawing 24 years ago. I started again two month ago. Look like I beat my 8 years old level \o/

I think you're right about the typography, could be much better than just my hand usual capital writing. The pattern in the green part is design by the paper I use, which is a Canson A3 recycled paper 160 mg.

Here is my last post on this, just a quick work on the picture:

    What I learned doing this:

    - It's really cool to create a story while doing a map, imagine the story and personnality of people who used to live there, etc..
    - The topography is important, I have to improve myself with it.
    - I have to try to add light and shadow in my next maps. It could improve a lot.
    - I have to work on my textures
    - Details are cool!

Thanks to Bogie to push me to try this with the lite challenge.

I'm pretty sure you meant to use the word « confère », not « profère ». ^^
