Discuss [Arden Maps] Cartography Styles Collection

Over the years, I have applied many different Map Styles and am now back to show a few of those to highlight the progress & variety of them.

First is a style which was discussed between -Max- and me over 5 years ago at some intensity and have concluded into this style when I was commissioned to draw maps for Chaosium's Down Darker Trails Source Book of the Call of Cthulhu RPG.

So are they Illustrator brushes? The look is spot on.

Nice! Are you going to share the brush set since you posted here, or are you just showing off what you developed?

Honestly, I just wanted to show how they are made and demonstrate their use. I think it is more interesting to create their own tools so it has their unique shapes. I might share a brush pack later with a selection of my items maybe.

I find difficult to use a brush set for my maps, i find them too repetitive. But if the set is well executed and used with accuracy, why not ? Even if i find that way a kind of cheating . The result's better if you find the time to do it according to the relief Map.
Beside that, i find your set really intersting and well executed.
    Cheers.
    Warlin.
