Thread: ***May 2020 Challenge - Create a City Map based on your Home Town***

    Default ***May 2020 Challenge - Create a City Map based on your Home Town***

    This month's challenge comes to us from Jerren who made the following suggestion way back in February of last year:

    Take a map of your home town and transfer it (or parts of it) into a fantasy/sci-fi/whatever setting. Think about some relevant or prominent features and try to figure out what those things would be in an other world or time.
    Well there you have, can't wait to see what people come up with. As per usual, remember to:

    1) Title your thread: April 2020 Challenge: <<your title would go here>>
    2) Use the ### Latest WIP ### tag before EVERY work-in-progress image you post so that the image will show up in the thumbnails;
    3) Only submit maps begun on or after today (May5th), maps started earlier than this are ineligible for the contest.

    The regular challenges always run until the end of the month, unless stated otherwise (we've had the occasional two-month challenge for particularly complex ideas). So deadline would be 31st of May, as far as I know.

    Haha, that's awesome! My town has a castle-y thing but a proper castle is just too cool.

    Funny enough, this is a huge project I'm getting started on. My home town of Ligonier was last rendered in 1900, I'm going to draw it for 2020.

    Aww... When it was suggested, I told to myself I would love so much to join this one if chosen... But I really don't think I'll be able to find the time for it
    'will have the biggest pleasure to see all those maps, anyway ! ^^
