Whenever I'm allowed I like to go off the path. I'm very curious and I always hope to discover something just behind that tree or right over there at the far side of that hill. Sometimes my curiosity is rewarded and I go home with a new tale to tell.

This is a really fun style to draw in, and I'm exploring what's possible and how to make it look good. One of my goals is to add life to the images I make which led me to drawing a lot of animals, most of them birds. Can you find them all? I've drawn more than I could fit in here and I can't wait to show you

The bird in the happy little tree. Guess what I watch during drawing

It's a salmon! Is it bad that my first instinct is to go 'yummy'?

Some of the animals I drew for this picture, not all of them made it in though, but some managed to sneak out and into other drawings
I have a deviantART and an Instagram! Shiny

I think this looks great, and I love the execution of the fun cartoony style which is still clean and crisp and works as a map, exemplified by the gridlines curving to follow the topography.

    Can you find them all?
As well as the man on B8, I found a squirrel climbing the tree on C3, a jay in the tree on G8, a magpie flying above B7 (?) and the salmon in the depths of H2.

This is awesome. The grid lines are especially well done. You did this all on isograph markings?

Goodness me, this looks fantastic. I'm imagining this would be an interesting battle map, a la Banner Saga. Do you have any other maps in this style?

I love the simple abstract style, and the colors are spot-on!
Wonderful work and a nice addition to the overall themes around. You make me want to try a more abstract style some day =)

That squirrel's coloration is perfect there! Excellent camouflage! A great style as normal.
