Hello All, This is my very first map, made it over the course of about 20 hours or so. This was also my first time using Gimp as the medium, i have not had any other experience with any other map making software but i have been reading on this site and seems gimp is the tool of the trade if i am not buying photoshop

learnt a lot just with this basic map, definitely some things i like and some things that are a little funky ( looking at you alien tentacle lake) haha

i don't have a very artist mind when it comes to this sort of thing, curves and such are especially hard, i would rather draw everything in straight lines, but i am know i have to practice enorder to get better.

Hope you enjoy and please let me know any pointers or any help would be great.

Actually believe it or not i made it haha. thank you for your kind words i followed the instructions that are on here for using Gimp to make a map. i can try to upload the raw gimp file if you want?
