Help Improve My Map

I am creating my first hombrew campaign and have made this map. I don't quite like how it looks but can't put my finger on why so any help is useful. Thanks!

Well, i think it depends on what do you want as a map for your campaign: i think that is a really nice looking simple map to use as a base..
You are looking for something more articulated? Maybe you could make the biomes more sparse and less sectorial, and maybe add roads or path and names.
And a detail: i think that a ship near the eastern or north-western coast could be beautiful!
