Wip WIP - Eos, worldbuilding from the foundation

    Hello there, fellow cartographers!

It's my first time posting here for real (beside my introduction, somewhere in 2019, an eternity ago)
I'm an avid lover of realism when it comes to worldbuilding and after many years of procrastination on that project, I finally started modeling Eos, my fictional planets, with a similar tectonic plate structure, geology and structure as Earth. I've been influenced a lot by the youtuber Artifexian and his tutorial on tectonics and worldbuilding in general.

Here's my work in progress, I'm pretty much done with the continents already:

In rectangular view, with all the plates in black, general movement direction arrows in green, interaction between plates in yellow and continents in cyan

Thanks for the tip! Looks like I missed that one

For the climate, Artifexian posted a nice serie of 2 videos on realistic climates, so I was going to use that, but more information never hurts!

Yes, Artifexian method is far more faster than this one and more simple, if you prefere Hours of painfully drafting temperature and precipitation maps, like i love to do, you could give the other one a try; the results are far more detailed

    Update:

I've created the ocean currents on my world. Next step: coastlines.
