While looking for some inspiration I came across this book by Tonke Dragt and I really wanted to make a map inspired by this fantastic story.
This time I wanted to experiment with more linewidth variety and instead of colored pencils I wanted to try out Aquarel.
I was to scared to ruin the paper so I decided to go with Aquarel Pencils instead.
Allthough I do like the endresult, I still prefer ordinary colored pencils.
Somehow the paper would not accept my Caligraphy pens so had to do all the lettering with my microns.
Apologies for all the text being in Dutch but here is a rough translation of the rhyme:

If the treasure could speak with words
Try oh, child and child’s-child’s-children
to understand these rhymes

These words are the sign
One alone will not find me
and a ladder will point in my direction

These words are the sign
All children are your friends
attempt to withstand the enemy

These words are the sign
Stranger who will bind the Dragon
will need to travel the 7 paths

Greensleeve will speak the spells
Greeneye will find the key
Greenhair will defeat the Dragon
