Yes, I'd resize the ground leaves. or try edge lighting on the upper leaves, a very little trim of gold might make them pop. I love the stairs down.

Thank you, XCali, and Tiana. Its funny, right after I posted I realized the ground leaves were even larger than the top tree leaves, lol. I shrank them quite a bit for the next version. Will tweak them throughout the day and see if I get another version up tonight.

Glad you like the land texture, XCali. I do to, I am resisting an urge to keep messing with it, lol.

I really think this is nearing completion as I don't want to overdue it. Maybe a border and title for the contest still though.

Shrank the leaves on the ground, and tried to raise the tree and leaves on the tree up a little bit, changed the contrast to get them to stand out more. Maybe went too bright.

Added some cobwebs to give it more Halloween feel. Not sure I like them or not. Damn, I am terribly indecisive.

Also started messing around with the Border and Title so I don't mess with my landscape anymore. My first couple attempts were far too much Album Covers, lol. Settling on this attempt for now.

Actually going Album Cover wouldn't be bad if you want to get album cover commissions, because then you have a demo for it! Ironically I made some recent music and have been tormented over how to make nice album covers for the crap music I made... just a totally different thing, even if it seems 'easier'. I think it's a good change to the leaves and good to go for a basic map.

I will suggest a map as an album cover as a great idea...

Removed the grid for the final version.

To date one of my favorite landscapes I created. Thanks for the challenge.

Looks great. The autumn leaves really bring it together.

    Cheers,
    Arsheesh
