Those are really amazing maps and an excellent entrance to the site! I really like the bubbles around your major locations. They have come out really well and clear. Your coastline also looks great. It must have taken a long time to get all those lines done. Welcome to the guild!

Hey Peter, this is looking really good. I agree with everything Arimel said as well, particularly about the bubbles around major locations.

It's not so much a criticism but one thing I think you could work on to take your work to the next level is the border and other supporting elements of the map (compass rose, map title). Compared to the rest of the map they just feel like a little bit of an afterthought. A well thought out border and other decorations can really bring a map together. The guild is an excellent place to have a look around for ideas in this regard and there are many people who do really good supporting elements. I would start by looking at the work of MistyBeee, she is probably one of the best artists I have seen on the guild in this area.

Really great map! love the city icons... and overall its really nice! Nice clean text labels... coastline lines... i tried this style on one of my maps so i know how much willpower it takes... Just great... But however in my opinion the compas rose would deserve some more love

You have a lot of potential, this can't be your first map.

Everything looks pretty solid, your minimal shadowing on the elements and coastlines gives it a degree of depth. Second on all the above.

Stick around here, soak up the inspiration, and I can see your maps becoming very good.

You've got a pleasing style. I like the treatment of the coastlines and the location illustrations look great.
Excellent introduction, I look forward to seeing more. Welcome to the Guild halls!
