Thread: Saint Marjolaine Fort

    Default Saint Marjolaine Fort

This only took just under a few hours but I am quite pleased with it. I'm also having a lot of fun doing these small practice maps - based on the same idea when JEdward did his small maps.

The name was chosen by a friend. It takes some inspiration from those old french sea forts.

This looks really great. The shadows came out pretty well.

What size do you do the small drawings at?

I just start at 1500 x 1500 and go from there.

I líke the grey scale gradient you used as well as the tiny details you included in the map. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Love it! Thanks for sharing! Love big city, kingdom & continental size maps but this is a reminder that small but cool can be pretty awesome too.
