    Map Embuira and Telesus

    Hello everyone! Happy new year.

I've been getting back into watercolour painting lately and thought I'd have a crack at a watercolour map. So here's 'Embuira and Telesus'.
The little story I've made up for this one is that resource-poor but powerful Embuira, and vast, resource-rich Telesus, were in conflict for decades. (Neither nation is shown in full.) This map commemorates the completion of the cross-strait Highway of Harmony, twenty-five years after the signing of peace treaties and trade deals.

Unhappy with my scanner as always, but it'll do...

The colors are indeed absolutely fantastic but so is the map. The flow of the land is terrific too !

Very nice, I love the colour and overall style of the map. The scan quality is a bit unfortunate though, are you using a flatbed scanner or taking an image with a camera?

Super work! The watercolours work really well, especially in the seas.

The watercolours are indeed striking. And like Tomas, I really like the general display of the lands and towns.

The colors are so true, it makes me think of a real atlas! I just love how you depicted the elevation, it's masterful.
