I adore Calibri, Candara and Consolas. They are lovely.

Link My fav free font site...

My favorite free font site is acidfonts.com

They have hundreds of fonts (with new fonts added all the time), ding-bats some complete, though many not complete character sets. They have some great heraldric beast fonts, variety of Celtic and even one cool Anglo-Saxon font (called Anglo-Saxon)

The font I used as the title graphics for my November Challenge Entry is literally the title graphics for the movie, Blade Runner (called Blade Runner font) - all are true-type fonts.

Note the fonts linked at the top of the page with an alphabetical listing are the free fonts. Fonts linked at the bottom of the page are paid-for Bitstream linked fonts - so stay on top list.

There are hundreds of fonts here.

That post has reminded me to post up that nice link which Fabrice posted earlier.

French site all about old texts, fonts and scripts it seems.

Damn, looks like I missed the free period for Font Manager.

Does anyone happen to know a freeware programme that does at least some of the things Font Manager does?

I'll second The Font Thing as I use it.
