  1. I do as well. And I thought it would be a good challenge to test drive your new style Which it was. I'm pretty happy, it turned out well.
  2. You're welcome, Jim I always used to view challenges as a way of making myself learn a bit more about mapping by doing something out of my comfort zone.
  3. Thanks for the vote Sue! I knew I wouldn't get many. They're a tough crowd and prefer 'hand-drawn' maps, even though there's no real difference between using CC3+ and other graphics programs where they use 'custom brushes' and textures/fill patterns on layer masks...except that most CC3+ users don't create their own symbols and fill patterns.
  4. You're welcome, Jim

Good luck in the Lite Challenge!
  5. Thanks Sue. I guess it took me whole day from start to finish, perhaps a tad longer. Your artwork is gorgeous.
  6. Hi Jim Thanks for the birthday wishes, and the compliments!

Sorry the mailbox was full! I hadn't realised, but I've emptied a few of them out now.

Sorry to hear about the FB issue. FB can be rubbishy 'in the wild', but the CC3 group is pretty good. There is a good atmosphere there with lots of mutual help - free of the usual interference and negative trash

I am more easily contacted either there or on the FB forum, since I divide what there is of my free time between the two of them.
  7. Hi Sue,
Just checked your finished map album. WOW! if I can produce maps 1/2 as good as those I'll be a very, very happy camper!
  8. Hi Sue, I tried to respond to your PM but your mailbox needs emptying.
Thanks for the invite to the FB group unfortunately I don't do social media other than specific interest forums such as this one and obviously the Profantasy one as well now! Too many idiots, over sensitive types that need to drink a can of concrete to harden up and hypocrites - particularly our US cousins who espouse the 'right to freedom of speech', however they only seem to honour that when your opinion matches theirs...if it doesn't then prepare to be vilified and ridiculed...I've got no time for that. My avatar here is a fairly accurate representation though I'm a little older (late 50's), not sure about wiser. And apparently, birthday wishes are in order, so Happy Birthday!
  9. You're welcome Sue. It was a really nice map and you do amazing things with CC3.
  10. Thanks for the comment and rep - much appreciated
