No worries, I usually vote on the entrants which are definitely maps and which best meet the challenge spec. Many people will vote on which bit of artwork looks the nicest or most skillfully rendered and that can often be decided by the software, cost of it and cpability of the PC used which not everybody has. Your map had a good layout and shows a lot of good features and thought out aspects. But for almost everybody, excepting those really at the top of their game, everybody can benefit from more practice so its just keep taking part and keep enjoying the process and have fun.
