Default the Geography of the Near-hemisphere of Elyden

Heya! In the words of Staind, It's been a while!

Here's the low-res version of the latest Atlas Elyden map, featuring some information regarding the geography of the Near-hemisphere of Elyden, which was made by stitching together all the smaller regional maps I've made. Though I am pleased with the result, it only shows how much I have left to do to complete the entire world!

Aww yeah, more Vorro awesomeness! That looks really fantastic. Did you have to change the projections of the smaller maps when you stitched them together, or did you already have it set up so when you merged them they looked right?

Picture this, sicily, 2022. Not quite Sicily, but I'm a few miles away to be honest... so, I had to reproject every one of the maps in the areas shown as equirectangular as they were originally made in equidistant conic. I then stitched them together, which was a pain as no matter how careful I am when reprojecting there's always a bit of unwanted distortion, so they never line up correctly. also the original maps are oriented parallel with the lines of longitude so I had to rotate them all arbitrarily to get them parallel with the equator so I could stitch them. then once that was done I projected them as orthographic...

Holy cow that sounds like a lot of work! It is definitely worth it though as that page is absolutely beautiful! This is definitely one of my favorite worlds to see advanced!
