I think it's looking pretty darn awesome so far. This is a huge amount of work. What's your ultimate goal? And the intermittent goals with this?

Thank you Falconius, it's been restarted a few times over these few years, but I am happy with it so far. Keeping with a scientifically accurate standpoint. It's definitely plenty, but only a corner of a single continent. Ultimate goal is to finish the topography, climates, and then keep working on the lore. A book series, and possible next gen fantasy RPG game. By goal is to finish each continent, then create a atlas or even satellite style map. For the books/game, a medieval style map.

    Very impressive and ambitious!

Btw I've been dithering about buying a new PC (my desktop is 4 years old) but I just made the smallish investment of maxing out its memory. Hugely improved the wait times in Photoshop.

    Thank you Robulous!
I recommend it, new pc's with expanded memory helps a bunch. With high resolution, and huge files, it's a must. recently built a pc right before the pandemic, and things started going South.

It's made these maps possible, it does lag from time to time, but rarely. I have a Western Digital solid state 2tb, keeps it going.

Added some more detail to Vaaltmora, and the surrounding bodies of water. Tried my hand at some ocean floor spreading from the divergent plate boundary. Hoping the horst archipelagos, and islands caused by the surrounding rift zone.

I really like the islands and landforms and the underwater terrain. It's a pity that there is no way to see actual images in full-size format. I especially like the sandspit. In terms of terrain quality, you are very close to the Pixie style. Waiting for more news

Thank you Harrg, apologies, I had just seen this comment. The islands that look like a sand split are some of my favorite parts as well if you are referring to the volcanic arcs, or the barrier islands. I am inspired by a lot of work I have seen here, so it would not surprise me it's close to Pixie. Since I have started this project almost 7 years ago, I have learned so much about geology, and the makings of a world from the ground up; unfortunately this has caused me to wipe clean many times, keeping the continent shapes.
I have been working on it on and off for months now, but sparsely due to life happenings being the priority. And Apologies for the terrible picture quality of the maps posted prior.

Below is the work so far, though may not seem much, has taken a while.

I have been working primarily in the Southern part of Vaaltmora, detailing the plate boundaries, and adding a few topographical character here and there.
The extreme southern part of the continent has an extremely cold and wet climate, and has been carved out by ice sheets during the Long Cold. I'm still on the fence about the transitional/strike slip plate boundary next to the great lake, could use some advice.

    Regards.

The Subcontinent Island of Azmarin will not be completely uplifted, so I will edit that. I just wanted to fill it in, the cut out where I need to.

Need some critiques on the Subcontinent of Azmarin so far, going to add the higher elevation layer. Subantarctic Fjords line the southern coast due to a continental margin or ancient mountain ranges mixed with snow, ice, and rainfall. The Central Highlands are created by uplifting from a hotspot under the crust here. Red dots are proposed active volcanic locations. Basically, I wanted to enclose the center of Azmarin due to its mysterious lore, keeping it hidden. The bathymetry that surrounds is due to either the converging plates closing the sea in to the North, or the divergent boundary from tearing away from the Antarctic continent of Dhemoria. Let me know what y'all think.
