Default April/May '21 Lite Challenge: The Darlklands

    Hi Folks,

So, for my entry, if it's allowed, I'm going to 'invert' the shape and have that as my inner sea and map the negative space using the latest CC3+ annual issue from none other than Sue Daniel, aka Mouse.

Here is WIP of the concept, the white will be base land mass.

    Welcome to the Challenge damonjynx!!
To be technical for a second, I did state the shape should be a landmass, BUT the rules are mostly guidelines AND we love when people get creative. So...Looking Good! Looking forward to see what you do with this!

    Thanks Bogie,

A bit of tongue in cheek here; "I am providing a shape and I want you to make a landmass map out of it." To be equally technical, it says make a landmass map out of the shape, it doesn't actually say the landmass has to be the shape... Symantics I know but...

    Here is a WIP.

And in a blinding flash of logic, Bogie vanished!

Oh Bogie, please don't go, Oh Bogie please don't go... Oh Bogie, please don't go down to New Orleans, You know we like so, Bogie please don't go.

Thanks Sue. Had to change the symbol size, the default was just too big.

Did an hour or thereabouts before our game tonight, here is an update. Starting to look more like a map and less like a demented, psychiatrist's tool.

Does chewing through a leash count?
    GW

One's worth is not measured by stature, alone. By heart and honor is One's true value weighed.

Thanks Bogie! 100% agree. Mouse’s artwork for this style is fantastic.
