July Challenge: Dragon Class Destroyer
I will be creating a deckplan using the tutorial here: https://www.cartographersguild.com/s...ad.php?t=10857 It's old, but I don't expect too much trouble translating to modern GIMP.
The plan will be a star-faring raider/pursuit warship of the Dragon class. Often favored by privateers or outright pirates for its speed and fearsome appearance, the Dragon class uses a gold-core spacetime-folding engine. This is an expensive FTL mechanism, but it allows the Dragon to achieve excellent long-distance travel times and unparalleled tactical speed and agility.

I have an exterior bulkhead done. This is the largest digital map I've attempted (though it's monochromatic, which will at least control file size). The ship is about one thousand feet long.

Power core added. Security airlock bulkheads for primary engine room and bridge added. Forward heavy plasma cannons added. Soooo much empty space left to fill.

Added some text. Placed airlocks (though I might want at least one more). I have made some furnishing to place, but none are showing yet.
What I would ask for feedback on specifically is the font. I think it has a good look for a "spaceship plan" map, but it might be a bit clumsy for reading.

I think the font itself is good. What I'd do is leave a little more space between lines of text.
So much to do, but progress has been made.
